Obituary of Wayne White Jr.
A graveside memorial service for Harry Wayne White, Jr. of Lake Bridgeport, Texas will be 10:00 am Saturday, September 11, 2021 at Eastside Cemetery, in Bridgeport, officiated by Father Reehan Antony. Visitation will be at 9:00 am, also at the cemetery, one hour prior to the service. Wayne passed away peacefully Thursday, August 19 at home, one day after his 69th birthday.
Wayne was born August 18, 1952 in Fort Worth, Texas to Harry Wayne White, Sr. and wife Dez Irene (Garrison) White.
He graduated from Richland High School. He was self-employed as a master electrician and had recently retired. Wayne was a lifelong member of St. John’s Catholic Church in Bridgeport and remained faithful all of his life. He was also an avid fisherman and loved his morning crappie fishing, and tending to his garden in the evenings.
He was a man of his word, with a heart of gold. He loved nothing more than telling you his most recent jokes, good or bad. He loved being around his family and taking pictures of everything. His work ethic, friendly disposition, dedication to his family and his faith were impeccable, and that is his legacy.
Wayne is survived by his wife of 48 years, Kathleen (Casey)White; daughter Darcie White; son Zeb White; granddaughter Shelby White; great-grandsons Dawson White, Tate White and Tallen White; sisters Beckey Stallcup and husband James, and Cynthie Neece.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
