


Obituary of Robby "Taco" Robinson
Funeral services for Robby “Taco” Robinson, 57, of Bridgeport will be Friday, August 27, at 11:00 AM at Hudson and Torres Family Funeral Home. Visitation will be 1 hour prior to the service, 10:00 AM, also at the funeral home. The service will be live-streamed on our Hudson & Torres Facebook page. He passed away on August 23, 2021, in Decatur.
Robby was born to George and Rosalie Robinson on March 19, 1964 in Guymon, Oklahoma. He married the love of his life, Shelly, on June 30, 1984 in Balsora, Texas. He graduated from Paradise High School in 1983. He coached PeeWee Football for 15 years in Bridgeport for the Vikings. Robby loved vacation time with his family and especially his grandbabies. He loved riding his Harley. Spending time with family was his very favorite pastime. Robby was also a handyman and had a passion for OU Football.
He was survived by his wife, Shelly Robinson of Bridgeport; son, Chris Robinson of Bridgeport; daughter, Karly Robinson of Van Alstyne; godson, Mitch Jones of Springtown; sisters, George Ann Warren of Bridgeport, Belinda Wiley of Cleburne, Larise Robinson of Carlsbad, New Mexico; brothers, Ricky Robinson, Timothy Robinson, of Bridgeport and Kenny Robinson of Azle; 8 grandchildren; numerous nephews and nieces and a host of family and friends.
Robby was preceded in death by his parents; and brother, Kenneth Robinson.
