


Obituary of Charles A. Pittman
Charles A. “Chucky Bear” Pittman, 39, of Bridgeport, passed away on Sept 29, 2021 at his home. Visitation will be Saturday, October 9 from 6:00 – 8:00 pm in the chapel at Hudson & Torres Family Funeral Home. A memorial service will be held at a later date.
He was born January 8, 1982, to Mark and Sharon Cooke in Bridgeport. He was a beautiful spirit who touched many lives. He was well loved and despite his own mountains, he always tried to help others when he could.
Charles is survived by his parents; his significant other, Billy Arrant; sisters, Bettina Cooke of Bridgeport, Karla Jefferson; brothers, Richard Cooke of Bridgeport; Chris Vasquez, Carlos Vasquez, Tamahn Riggins; “sister”, Nickie Cooke; daughter, Arianna Thompson; grandson, Hudson; and numerous other family and friends.
He was preceded in death by his biological father, Carlos Antonio Vasquez; grandparents; Don & Mary Cooke, Carolyn & Elgin Pittman; and uncle, James Pittman.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to Hudson and Torres Family Funeral Home to help pay for funeral costs.
